Tentative WLBL 2026-2027 League Calendar Official Dates

The Board will adopt a formal set of League Calendar dates by early September, but our projected League Calendar is driven by holidays and LCPS calendar dates. Given those dates, below are the key projected dates for the 2026-2027 Winter Season

September 26th, October 3rd, October 10th: Travel Team Tryout Dates will target for 2 of these 3 Days.
October 1st: Registration Period Closes – Wait List Only after October 1st
October 17th-18th: House League Assessments
October 22nd-27th: House League Drafts
Mid November – Practices Begin (2 days/week)
Saturday, November 21st – WLBL Turkey Trot (Pre-Season Scrimmages)
December 5th: Opening Weekend – Games Begin
Regular Season Games: December 12th, December 19th, January 9th, January 16th, January 23rd, January 30th, February 6th, February 13th
Make-Up/Snow Date: February 20th, 2027
Playoffs Begin: February 22nd, 2027
Championship Weekend: Saturday, March 6th

We are aware that students have a holiday on Monday, March 7th and Tuesday, March 8th. With this in mind we will be looking to move up the Championship Weekend but the date shown is the LATEST possible date of games.
